From Miracles to Ruined is the first album by the American Alternative Metal band Spasm. The album shows the band's wide range of influences from progressive metal to groove rock and even includes some heavier sounds. Powerful Drums, sharp guitar riffs, and spacy bass lines combine with melodic and amelodic vocals alike to create Spasm's sound. From Miracles to Ruined offers 12 tracks that range in aggression but are equally extrospective and brooding. When listened to from start to finish, the album reveals a story of waning spirit while each song carries its own meaning.
Recently released LP ‘Electric Mayhem’ showcases Southern Fried Genocide’s progressive hard rock style, which is laced with hints of psychedelic jams and groovy stoner riffs. Also, incorporated into the album are the genera’s that have inspired them as developing musicians; from their doom metal chart ‘Downtown Julie Brown’ to the open jam Allman Brother-esque instrumental ‘Jimini Cricket’.
